This memorial football game has turned into a scholarship program for Northumberland County, PA children that do not have financial means to pay for the registration fees, uniforms and equipment that are needed.  Any child who meets guidelines to include family income, approved school grades, a written essay telling why they should receive the scholarship, and other guidlelines are eligible to receive a scholarship to pay for the financial needs to play sports,.

Korbin will remain with us to ensure that no child is refused the right to enjoy sports.  By engaging our children in sports, we help to ensure that they are involved in activities that will lessen their chance of coming into contact with individuals that could pursuade them to make chioces in life that may endanger them.

These scholarships are able to be offered through our efforts in fundraising, public events we hold and the donations of everyone across the world who cares about children having chances and choices in life.

Kids for Korbin was created in October 2014 after a young boy named Korbin Rager, age 9, was taken from us too soon.  Korbin loved sports of all levels.  He excelled in football, bowling, and wrestling.  His passion was fishing with his grandfather.  This little boy had the biggest smile that could light up every room.  He was a go getter, one who would never settle for second place.  He had the heart of a winner and would not stop until he was number one.

In Korbins honor, Kids for Korbin was created by the very children that Korbin played sandlot football with in Sunbury , PA on a grass field.  They had decided the night after his viewing that they wanted to play a memorial football game in his honor.
